The best thing about rainy days in the city is that we (generally) have the park all to ourselves – with the exception of unusually large European tour groups who can’t necessarily reschedule their trips, and always seem to have their cameras ready. This was pretty much the case for Angelina & Patrick’s rainy engagement session in Central Park. Thankfully for us, there was plenty of downtime between tour groups, which gave us all the privacy we needed for this wonderfully beautiful engagement session. Luck was definitely on our side, and if you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you may have heard the rumor that it generally doesn’t rain when it’s time for me to shoot. While this is “mostly” true, I can’t contractually guarantee it :). At the end of the day, the rain did hold off during most of our shoot, and after making all our usual stops along the Bethesda Fountain, we made our way to Lincoln Center right before the torrential downpour began. It was perfect timing – what else can I say?
