On the morning of Jen and Jason’s engagement session, I praised my lucky stars because it was sunny outside without a cloud in the sky. I’d finally caught my lucky break. When I arrived at their place, I felt a slight mist falling onto my face. How could this be? How could it possibly rain without clouds? Are you kidding me?!

Curses!

So we decided to wait this one out with their dog. This worked out to our favor anyway, as the sound of Steelers getting murdered by the Ravens served as appropriate background music for the engagement session of my Baltimore couple :).

After it was quite clear the Steelers weren’t making a comeback (though that’s hard to say. I don’t really follow sports, but I believe my hometeam’s pretty proficient at choking on big plays, thus wrecking my status-feeds with disappointment and anger on most game days). But nevertheless, Ravens won. Once that was settled, we made our way out into a very misty Baltimore to continue on with our photography adventure.

Though I consider myself a semi-local, I could never navigate my way around Fells Point. This has nothing to do with the fact that I was a drunken stupor 10 years ago when I used to stomp around these parts, but because all the streets look the same to me, and none of them run in a straight line…sorta like the West Village in New York City. But luckily for me, we were in Jen and Jason’s backyard (so to speak) and were able to keep ourselves from venturing too far from civilization. We stole away into a random alleyway and found ourselves in this quaint little pocket of Baltimore :).

I love random alley ways. And of course the sun comes out when we decide to go indoors.

We totally thought we’d get kicked out of this hat store.
But the nice folks here allowed us to stay for a bit before continuing on our way :).

And of course the sun comes out right when we’re about to wrap up. Really?! I’ll take what I can get :). Jen and Jason, you guys were so awesome to come out and play in front of the camera, despite the unpredictable weather and missing out on the manhandling of Pittsburg by our home team. I hope you guys enjoyed our little photo-adventure and I can’t wait to see you guys again on your wedding day!
