So I just received word that some engagement packages left Ben Lau Photography headquarters a bit ahead of schedule :). Judging by my Facebook feed, some of these packages have already arrived to their destinations – while others, I imagine, are still currently en route. This just means I’ll be blogging all weekend, and by “blogging all weekend” I really mean “blogging three days of material on a Friday night because I’m shooting all weekend”. Easy peasy :).
Margot and Alex met during freshmen orientation in college. As European transplants (Margot from Italy and Alex from Greece), it only seemed natural they would eventually find each other in the sea of sunkissed denizens of Southern California. Fast-forward to the present day, they now call the Big Apple their home. As an awesome newly engaged couple, it only seemed natural they would eventually find yours truly, in a sea of Yankee-hat-wearing, hot-dog-eating, subway-riding denizens of New York.
For their engagement session, they wanted something natural, carefree and a true representation of their typical weekend. This apparently involves a lot of puppy kisses on the couch :).
And there you have it! Margot and Alex, thank you so much for spending your day with us. We look forward to seeing you guys again in a few more weeks! Hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed capturing them :).
