[Engagement] Katie & Jason – Soho, NY

Katie and Jason are both instructors at an international school in Belgium. They’re American transplants from New York and Oregon, respectively. And because I’m a shameless and thick-faced clown, I asked if Jason liked pickles. The short answer is “yes” :). I had only met Katie a few months prior during our initial consult, so we scheduled for a lunch date when they were both going to be in town. As we settled into our wooden booths inside of Puck Fair, we had the opportunity hash out their wedding plans over beers and french fries. A little liquid inspiration and harmless french fries never hurt anyone :).

Katie and Jason, congrats again on your engagement! We hope you enjoyed our little adventure in Soho and these images as much as we enjoyed capturing them. Thank you for spending your day with us, and we can’t wait to see you guys again on your big day!

I’m always amazed with our NY engagements that despite all the usual backdrops on everyone’s checklist, we always manage to find hidden gems on every session. It’s a win-win for everyone :).

Can’t believe it’s Thursday already! What do you guys have planned for the weekend? It’s our first weekend “off” this year and we can hardly contain ourselves! I only wish our lives were glamorous enough to warrant some sort of getaway that involves mojitos and (virgin) daiquiris for a very pregnant Karis. Maybe next month, when we’re all caught up :).
