While I’m no stranger to the occasional day trip around this beautiful country of ours, I would have to say that this one was probably one of the most tricky ones to plan and execute. There is always an inherent risk when substantial planning/travel is involved for any shoot: the weather may not cooperate, there may be flight delays, or I might hit some strange traffic anomaly on my way to the airport and miss my flight completely. The biggest source of anxiety was that I had to squeeze a full-length engagement session into a mere 1.5 hours (or risk missing my return flight back home). Luckily for us, our only unforeseen undesirable was a mildly injured photographer (yours truly, of course). But otherwise, this engagement session went off without a hitch!
I had never visited Colorado before, much less Boulder. And let me tell you – it’s so freaking amazingly gorgeous out here. If all of my client base weren’t all in the Northeast, I’d totally be out here in a heartbeat! But anyways, enough about me :). Denisse & Greg first met in college, but they did not make it official till much, much later in life, during a chance meeting while doing what single people do. They met, fell in love, packed their bags and moved to Colorado (sounds about right!). These two lovebirds will be tying the knot next year back in their home state of NJ. But before we get into all of that – here’s a peek into their Colorado engagement session!
